Masked Ball
My whole life was nothing.
Nothing but a masked ball.
I cried alone in the alleys
And let the rain blur my tears.
Nobody could her me
And nobody saw me.
When I met you,
I wasn’t happy either,
But I wore my mask,
So you couldn’t see my pain.
I walk through the streets
And the only thing I see
Are people in fancy dresses
And a mask in front of them.
Everyone’s a liar.
No one says the truth
And shows his feelings.
What about the love?
These cold-hearted bastards
Are like you and me.
You lie to me,
I lie to you.
We are the perfect couple
In a perfect world.
Now I’m falling down
Into my insanity
But that doesn’t matter,
Because I’ll be smarter.
Now I realise
That the whole life
Is just a lie.
Just a giant masked ball.

Weil es doch irgendwie wahr ist, oder?
Auch, wenn das hier übertrieben ist.
Und auch, wenn diese wenigen Ausnahmen gibt.
Hate you ♥
